Miss Lebanon Emigrant Australia: Beauty Queen to be Stripped of Title
A Sydney beauty queen is set to be stripped of her title after cash and drug found in her car. On 21st December, 2016, Najah Ghamrawi was arrested after a car chase through Western Sydney when she burst a tier and she was forced to pull over.
Police also pursued the Volkswagen Golf the teenager was driving changeably through several outer edge.
When they pulled over the car, the beauty queen, who won her crown, was questioned along with a man who was a passenger in the vehicle. After many search, police say that they found drugs and cash in the car.
Ms Najah Ghamrawi was fined more than $1,350 at Bankstown police station for driving car while not wearing a seat belt and not displaying P-plates.
As per the Daily Telegraph, Ms Ghamrawi was not charged with any drug offences. Miss Lebanon Emigrant Australia 2016 organizers said that they were worried to speak to was Ms Ghamrawi but she was not answering calls or emails.
NSW police confirmed that, beauty queen was arrested and fined and also her companion was charged. But a woman claiming to be her aunt said that they were completely false allegations.
She said that, Ms Najah was not in a car and was not taken to a police station. It’s complete rubbish.
Her mother Linda also emailed Miss Lebanon Emigrant Australia organisers that to insist the allegations against her daughter were incorrect.
