Nagrota Attack: 2 Soldiers Killed in Terror Attack on Army Camp
Today, 29th November, 2016, Militants attacked Nagrota Army Camp near Jammu. According to reports terror attack took place early morning at 5:30 am. Nagrota Attack is second such attack on an Indian Army camp in two months.
During this terror attack, 2 soldiers were killed and 2 jawans injured near an Army camp in Nagrota which is 20 kms away from Jammu, on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway.
According to reports, A Gunfight between the terrorists and the Army is on and situation is under control. A Gunfight stated at around 5:45 am. Three or four militants were holed up in an officer’s mess.
Local administration has ordered close up all schools in the cantonment which is vast and runs close to the National Highway 1A.
The Nagrota Cantonment is the headquarters of 16 Corps and houses several important army units and installations.
In Uri attack, 19 soldiers were killed when a group of suspected Pakistani militants attacked an army camp. After 11 days, Indian troops hit militants in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir as they were preparing to permeate into India.
Nagrota Attack: Two Militants Killed in Samba
Two Soldiers were killed and a Border Security Force jawan injured in another gunfight near the International Border in Chamliyal area of Ramgarh in Samba district.
Following the 29th September, 2016 as a surgical strike, there has been a surge in militant activities and border firing that has left a 13-year-old ceasefire agreement in tatters.
