Seventh Pay Commission: UP Government Approves 24 Lakh
Akhilesh Yadav has announced Seventh Pay Commission in UP. At present he is the CM of Uttar Pradesh. On Tuesday a Cabinet Meeting was chaired by him approved the implementation of 7th pay commission.
There has been major benefit to all the people of UP through this pay commission. Around benefits will be given to 16.52 lakh state government employees. And 10.50 lakh to pensioners and their families.
Seventh Pay Commission in UP:
This step of Akhilesh Yadav will create a liability of Rs 17958.20 crore on the state exchequer.
For this 7th pay commission there is 3 hours meeting conducted by him. And Akhilesh Yadav also said that this move would help him in form government. With this move once again with complete majority.
After the implementation of this recommendation there will be increment in salary. The salary of any employee joining the Uttar Pradesh government would be Rs 18,000 per month.
However, 18000 will only given to the employee include in 4 class. While the maximum salary would less than 2.25 lakh which is the salary of the state chief secretary, paid by the central government.
In the meeting of Tuesday it was said that those who registered under the Samajwadi Pension Scheme, would get a Rs 2 lakh insurance cover for critical illnesses.
Cabinet also declared the proposal to Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia to parents of police personnel who died on duty. State government also will give Rs 20 lakh to the dependents. But due to lack of coordination between family members, parents are unable to get this benefit.
In Cabinet Meeting, cabinet also approved four-laning of roads in Azamgarh, Allahabad, Firozabad and Pilibhit. Among others, along with a two-lane bypass in Bachhrawan area of Rae Bareli.
The brief session of state legislative assembly will be convened from December 21. While on Tuesday the approval for the same has been given by Governor Ram Naik.
However, this would be placed in the upcoming Assembly session along with vote on account for 2017-18. And this will be the second supplementary budget this year.
